The Russian Art studio is a unique opportunity for children to explore rich Russian culture.

The lessons are conducted by the dedicated professional teacher and talented artist Tatiana Wice.

Tatiana Wice was a teacher of art, drawing and composition of the highest category (14 th grade) in St.Petersburg G.V.Sviridov School of Arts. High level of education allows Tatiana to conduct education of children in the age from 4 to 16 years in a very qualified way. She is capable of organizing well an education process by finding an individual creative approach towards every pupil and implant an interest in children for artistic activities.

We put our efforts to use the Russian language during the lessons so that children could speak Russian and through arts be acquainted with the Russian culture.

Development of artistic talents of a child, his/her imagination, sense of color and esthetics is one of the main components of quality education. Lessons are built in such a way that children could experiment with color, form and content. Drawings, modeling, work with paper and other material forms children artistic taste, space imagination and coordinates flexibility of their hands .Besides they are acquainted with examples of Russian and world art works, Russian folk patterns and handicrafts, learn seeing and appreciating beauty.

Being together in the same age group children are more willing to speak Russian, to overcome shyness and language barrier and they remember the new things much quicker.

11:40-12:40         Ages: 7 - 11 years  Cost:  £9.00 per one lesson

12:50-14:15        Ages:  11+                 Cost:  £12.00 per one lesson
